  • Inspection Limitations: At A1 Snagging, we strive to provide thorough snagging inspections for new build properties. While we endeavor to identify and document every defect, there may be instances where certain issues are missed due to factors such as accessibility, visibility, human error, or similar reasons. We cannot be held responsible for any defects or issues overlooked or misrepresented during the inspection process.
  • Aftercare Support: Our commitment to client satisfaction extends beyond the inspection itself. We are dedicated to assisting you throughout the process and pride ourselves on our aftercare service. While we offer advice on approaching your builder regarding unresolved defects, our service is based on the snagging inspection and report provided. We are not liable if your builder refuses to address identified issues.
  • Thermal Scan: We utilize advanced thermal imaging technology, such as the “Seek Pro” camera, to enhance our inspections. Thermal scans are conducted on windows, external doors, radiators, and underfloor heating systems to detect potential faults. However, please note that thermal scans are weather-dependent and may not be feasible in all conditions. In such cases, we rely on physical inspections to ensure the integrity of your property’s features.
  • Data Processing: Personal and payment information may be processed by third-party companies for the purpose of customer data protection.

  • Service Variability: The duration and scope of our service may vary depending on factors such as property size, quality, and age. Regardless of the number of snagging items identified or the time taken for the inspection, our pricing remains consistent. We undertake to inspect your property to the best of our ability, and any deviation from estimated time or snag quantity does not warrant a refund.
  • Booking Confirmation: Receipt of our email confirmation constitutes an agreement regarding the location, date, time, and price of the inspection. Any changes to the appointment must be communicated via email at least 48 hours before the scheduled inspection.
  • Access Requirements: Failure to provide access to the property on the scheduled inspection date will result in forfeiture of the inspection fee without refund.
  • Payment Terms: For inspections booked with the “pay later” option, payment must be settled at least 48 hours before the scheduled inspection time. Failure to make payment within this timeframe will result in automatic cancellation of the appointment.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled inspection time are non-refundable.
  • Unfinished Property Deduction: In the event that our surveyor arrives at the property and finds it to be unfinished, resulting in the inability to conduct the inspection, 50% of the paid inspection fee will be deducted. We strongly advise ensuring that the property is fully finished, cleaned, and ready for inspection to avoid this scenario.
